#12Chefs12Nights Charity Evenings

From January to March 2017, we’re hosting #12Chefs12Nights, where amazing chefs from across the UK will be taking over the kitchens here at Olivers, cooking their favourite dishes and helping us raising money for two charities that our close to our hearts: Macmillan Cancer Support and our industry charity Hospitality Action.

Over 12 weeks, our head chef Ken will be joined by 12 talented chefs, preparing tasting menus that are a foodie’s dream, utilising the finest fresh local produce, kindly provided by our events’ main sponsors WestcountryOrigin and Celtic Fish & Game.

We’d also like to thank the Greenbank Hotel, who are kindly supporting us by providing accommodation for our visiting chefs.

Ken and our guest chefs will also be supported by students from the hospitality departments at Cornwall College, Penwith College and Truro College, giving them a great opportunity to gain some valuable kitchen and front-of-house experience.

We’ll also be running a raffle, featuring some fantastic money-can’t-buy prizes, which will be drawn on the final evening on Monday 27th March 2017.

Our eighth #12Chefs12Nights evening sees the Olivers kitchen being taken over by Ben Prior, head chef and proprietor of Ben’s Cornish Kitchen in Marazion which was voted Best Restaurant at this year’s Trencherman’s Awards and regional winner of Restaurant of the Year in the Waitrose Good Food Guide.
